17/30 A Picture of Something That Has Made a Huge Impact on Your Life Recently

What is something that has made a huge impact on my life recently?
There have been a few things but I do believe this is the most impacting.
It's not very recent though.

Steve proposed to me on December 25th, 2012. It was romantic and perfect and everything I've ever wanted. This is a badly taken photograph of the diamond ring he had custom made just for me. :)

Since then, I feel like I have transitioned into the next part of my life. I'm ready to plan my real wedding and spend the rest of my life with this man who I've come to know as my best friend. I feel secure, not just in the relationship, but in myself as well. We have been together throughout the time of my transition into adulthood and he has never once stepped in and blocked anything I've wanted to try, or any changes that I've gone through. He's always allowed me my freedom and I've always allowed him the same. It feels really good to have that support and yet be independent at the same time. This ring is just a reminder of that.
